This help centre explains how to use UrusFamily step by step, with button names exactly as they appear in the app. Start by creating a family and inviting your spouse, then add your children, create tasks with points, set up rewards and allowance, share the calendar and shopping list, show the family board on TV, and manage your account's privacy.
How do I set up my family in UrusFamily?
One parent creates an account and a family, then invites their spouse with a six-character code. Young children need no phone: they get a kid profile with a PIN on a parent's phone. Teens with their own phone are invited as a Teen.
How do tasks, points and approvals work?
A parent or adult adds a task and picks its size, worth 1, 2, 3 or 5 points. The child ticks it done, the task waits for approval, and the points arrive once a parent taps Approve.
How do rewards and allowance work?
Children redeem points for rewards a parent creates. If you like, the Wallet turns points into an allowance in RM at a value you set. The wallet only records real money; there are no payments in the app.
How does the family plan the week together?
The family calendar and the To buy list are shared live on every member's phone. Parents and adults add events, and everyone can see who is busy and what needs buying.
Can I use UrusFamily on my TV?
Yes. UrusFamily TV shows points, next chores, the goal and family events on Android TV, Google TV, or a tablet or computer browser. A parent links the TV by scanning a code from their phone.
How does UrusFamily protect privacy, and how do I delete my account?
The app has no ads, children have no account of their own, and diary entries and personal notes are only seen by their author. Delete your account in the app at More, Account, Delete account, or by email without the app.
