Use the shared shopping list
Open the More tab and tap To buy, then tap Add item and type the name and quantity, for example Eggs 2 trays. Items show on every family member's phone straight away, sorted by aisle. At the shop, tap an item to tick it bought, then tap Done shopping to save the receipt total.
How do I add items to the list?
Open the More tab and tap To buy. From Today, you can also pick To buy and tap Open the full list.
Tap Add item and type the item with its quantity, for example Eggs 2 trays. The quantity and the aisle are worked out for you.
If you like, pick Who is buying this.
If you like, tap Photo, Add photo, then Take photo or From gallery, so the right brand or pack gets bought.
Tap the Add item button at the bottom to save.
Version: photos on shopping list items arrived in version 1.0.7. Kids and teens see Ask for something, and their requests wait for a parent.
How do I set a shopper and a budget?
On the list, tap Set shopper and budget. Only parents and adults see this.
Pick Who is buying.
If you like, fill in Trip budget (RM), for example 50. Leave it empty for no budget.
Tap Save. The list shows who is buying and how much is spent against the budget.
What do I do at the shop?
Tap an item to tick it bought. Ticked items move into Bought.
Tap the arrow at the end of a row for details, such as Price (RM) or Staple, which adds the item back on a schedule.
After shopping, tap Done shopping under the Bought section.
Check Receipt total (RM), already added up from the prices of ticked items, and tap Save and clear. The ticked items leave the list.
The app remembers the last price of each item and tells you when it went up.
Questions
Is the UrusFamily shopping list shared with my spouse?
Yes. Items you add show up on every family member's phone right away, and ticks update straight away too, so two people can shop from the same list.
Can children add items?
Kids and teens tap Ask for something. Their request shows on the list and a parent decides whether it gets bought.
What happens to item photos?
A photo helps whoever is shopping pick the right product. It is deleted when the item leaves the list.
Can I see our monthly grocery spend?
Yes. Parents and adults see Grocery spend for this month against last month, from the receipt totals saved with Done shopping.
