Show the family board on your TV
Yes. Install UrusFamily TV from Google Play on Android TV or Google TV, or open urusfamily.com/tv/app/ in a tablet browser. The TV shows an eight-character code and a QR code. On your phone, open Family TV, tap Add a TV, scan or type the code, name the TV and tap Approve. Only parents and adults can link a TV.

How do I link a TV from my phone?
Turn the module on first: the More tab, Family settings, Modules, and under Home turn on Family display.
Open UrusFamily TV on the TV, or open urusfamily.com/tv/app/ on a tablet. The screen shows an eight-character code and a QR code. The code changes every 10 minutes.
On your phone, open the More tab and tap Display to reach Family TV. Tap Add a TV.
Point the camera at the QR code on the TV, or tap Type the code and fill in Code on the TV. Check it matches the code on the TV.
Fill in TV name, for example Living room. If you like, turn on Initials only to shorten members' names.
Tap Approve. If asked, confirm your password. The family board appears on the TV in a few seconds.
What does the TV show, and what does it never show?
- ShowsThe clock and date, each member's points today, up to three next chores each, the family goal, events for seven days and birthdays within 30 days.
- Never showsThe wallet or any RM balance, diary and notes, health, emergency details, documents, cards, or anyone's age.
- At nightFrom 10 pm to 6.30 am the screen dims and shows only the clock and the family goal.
- OfflineThe last board stays with the time it was last updated, and is cleared after 48 hours.
How do I manage or remove a TV?
Open Family TV on your phone and tap the TV in the list.
Change its name, Initials only, or Show family photos on this TV. Photos are off by default for every TV.
To put a one-line notice on the TV, tap the row under TV notice, write up to 140 characters and save.
To remove the TV, tap Remove this TV. The TV goes back to its pairing screen in about a minute.

Can I use UrusFamily on a Samsung or LG TV?
There is no UrusFamily TV app for Samsung or LG. Use a tablet or computer browser at urusfamily.com/tv/app/, or mirror your screen to the TV.
How many TVs can I link?
The Free plan allows 1 TV. Premium allows up to 5 TVs per family, at RM 9.90 a month or RM 79 a year. UrusFamily is free during the launch period.
Can my child tick chores on the TV?
Only on a touch screen such as a tablet: the child taps their name, enters their PIN, then ticks the chore. A TV driven by a remote is for viewing only.
Does UrusFamily TV need the internet?
Yes. The board refreshes about every 30 seconds. If the internet drops, the last board stays on screen and is cleared after 48 hours.
